Honorary Board Member
Deborah Shaw has had a varied background. After training as a Buyer for Harrods, then working as a Publicist at Lynne Franks PR, Deborah relocated to Los Angeles. There Deborah became Personal Assistant to Charlton Heston before moving to John Crosby Management as Talent Manager representing numerous clients including Charlize Theron, Rene Russo, John Hurt, Orla Brady, James Denton, and Shia LaBeouf whom Deborah discovered when he was just 12 years old.
In 2003, a wealth of experience under her belt and a BAFTA member, Deborah returned to London where she met founding President of the ACA-UK, Joy Montgomery. Soon after Deborah joined Joy as a founding Board member becoming the first Treasurer of the ACA-UK. In 2011 Deborah became Vice President and in June 2012 President.
Deborah stepped down from her role as President in September 2014, succeeded by Thomas Trautmann, and remains an honorary member of the Board.
