LORRAINE CULLIN

Lorraine Cullin resigned her position on the Board in June 2008; she was the former Website and Newsletter Director. On joining the Board in February 2006 Lorraine coordinated website content and in January 2007 resurrected the ACA newsletter as its Editor.

Her career has been varied, initially working as a Research Scientist in Genetics at The Imperial Cancer Research Fund, then moving on to The Welcome Trust at Cambridge University.

In 1996 she relocated to the USA where she worked for musician and actor Steven Van Zandt as his Personal Assistant, and then Vice President of his music production company Renegade Nation in New York.

Since returning to the UK Lorraine started her own company which provides PA and business services to high profile clients in the UK and USA.

Up to 2004 Annabel worked internationally attending to the needs of VIPs – she was lucky enough to travel the world and became adept at negotiating with 5* hotels, tracking down lost luggage and sourcing helicopters in far-flung locations.

In 2004, she set up SORTED Personal Management with her brother and business partner Ben Arnold.  SORTED is a business focussed on the private PA industry.  The Recruitment arm of the business matches PA’s to individuals in the industries of media, fashion and sports as well as private and royal households while the Lifestyle arm is a PA service caring for people in the public eye who need part-time assistance. 

SORTED offers a refreshing change in the recruitment industry.  They develop a personal relationship with clients and a support network for candidates sharing their contacts and know-how.

In her spare time Annabel co-runs a social networking club www.fishtowater.co.uk, enjoys all things Italian and is an enthusiastic knitter.
